April 5, 2013 - We are pleased to announce that our 4th annual So Cal Comic Con is set for Sunday, October 20th, 2013, at the QLN Conference Center from 10 am to 5 pm. Guest of Honor and attending artists/writers/publishers to be announced.
2012 Guest: Marc Silvestri
We are pleased to announce that our 2012 Guest of Honor is none other than Top Cow founder and artist extraordinare Marc Silvestri!
After making a name for himself at Marvel on titles like Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine, Marc became one of the 7 co-founders of Image Comics, which changed the face of comics. His studio, Top Cow Productions, has launched 18 number one hits, and has produced such fan-favorite titles as Witchblade, the Darkness, Wanted, and Tomb Raider. He has mentored some of the greatest artists in comics today, including David Finch, Joe Benitez, Francis Manapul, Eric Basaldua, Mike Choi, Tyler Kirkham, and the list goes on and on, as well as legendary artist Michael Turner who passed away in 2008.
INTERESTED IN GETTING A MARC SILVESTRI SKETCH AT THE SHOW?
Marc will be sketching for the first 5 people who come into the show and go to the Top Cow booth to get a sketch ticket.
In addition, we will be raffling off TEN free sketch spots in our main raffle during the afternoon sessions, so there will be sketch opportunities all day!
Marc will be appearing from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm, signing and talking to fans, and sketching as described above.
Darkness #108 So Cal Comic Con Variant
November 13, 2012 - We are proud to unveil our first show exclusive comic book, Darkness #108 SCCC Variant, featuring gorgeous Marc Silvestri pencils inked by Joe Weems. This variant is limited to a scarce 250 copies, so get your copy at the show! Only $15 each, or 2 for $20! Get it signed by Marc and Joe at the show!
Active and Retired Military Personnel get in for FREE!
November 9, 2012 - With Veterans Day around the corner, we wanted to remind our men and women in the Armed Forces that they can get in for FREE to our convention! Just bring your ID, DD-214, or something to indicate your status and you can enjoy our show! In addition, the 1st 10 members of the military to attend get a FREE Marvel hardcover! We value your service and contribution to our country, and we hope to see you at the convention!

November 5, 2012 - We are pleased to welcome back artist Keu Cha, along with new additions Brian Buccellato and Ale Garza to our artist lineup!
In addition, we are pleased to announce several new exhibitors to our lineup, including BOOM! Studios, Robert Quinn Comics, Jay Company Comics, Elveen's Comics and Collectibles, Willie and Rosa's Toy Store, and George Dixon!
Unfortunately, exhibitors Comic Madness and Chunky Girl Comics, along with artist Mark dos Santos, will be unable to attend the show.

March 5, 2012 NEW SHOW DATE ANNOUNCED FOR 2012! We are thrilled to announce the date for our 3rd annual convention and a new, BIGGER location! Sunday November 18th, 2012, from 10 am to 5 pm, at the QLN Conference Center, located at 1938 Avenida del Oro in Oceanside. (5 freeway to Oceanside Blvd, head East, make a left on Avenida del Oro and the QLN campus is on the right!)
We are also pleased to announce our first set of returning guests: Garage Art Studios! Tone Rodriguez, Chris Moreno, Mark dos Santos, & Tony Fleecs are coming back to Oceanside for their 2nd appearance! We will be announcing more guests, and our Guests of Honor, soon.

Admission is $7 for adults, kids 13 and under are FREE with an adult. Save $1 off admission by bringing a So Cal Comic Con postcard flyer, which can be found in most Southern California comic shops!
